Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates Thalassemia Society.
One of the founders of the Emirates Thalassemia Society, he is one of the few earliest volunteers who initiated to support the association since its establishment in 1997 until now.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from BCC University in America.
He is daily present in the society to review the requirements of patients and develop plans about Thalassemia in UAE.
He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of TIF, where he actively offers his expertise for the welfare of the patients all around the world.
He had a major role in establishing a law for mandatory medical examination before marriage in the country in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in the past (the Ministry of Community Development). The Marriage Fund and the Emirates Thalassemia Society’s this decision came to light in context of the mandatory pre marital test.
He is one of the most important members of the society who contributed to the occurrence of the two members being voted in the World TIF Board Members.
Winner of the Emirates Pioneer Award, along with his wife, Mrs. Khalida Ali Khamas, Secretary and Executive Director of the Association, for being the first couple to establish an association to support Thalassemia patients in the United Arab Emirates in 2015.
Recipient of the Civil Society Pioneers Award in 2012.
Received the Sharjah Prize for Voluntary Work in 2019.
He holds several certificates of appreciation from government and private sectors for his voluntary role towards the Emirates Thalassemia Society.
