Engineer Azza Sulaiman is one of the prominent Emirati figure in the field of government and public work in the United Arab Emirates.
Over the past 27 years, she has occupied multiple sites through which she contributed to a quantum leap through the projects and initiatives that she managed, especially in the field of public works and housing.
She is one of the pioneering Emirati women to enter the dome of the Federal National Council, where she obtained the membership of the Council in 2015.
She was also one of the first Emiratis to experience her candidacy for the Council elections in 2011.
She is the first woman at the state level to head a sports federation where she is the chair person of the temporary committee of the Federation Athletics in the Emirates.
She has won many prizes for honoring women’s excellence, including the Emirates Award for Women in the 2011 session, where she won the General Prize for Professions.
Winner of the L'Officiel Arab Women Award in the charitable activity category in 2012.
Personality award for spreading awareness of genetic diseases in 2018 from the Emirates Genetic Diseases Association.
