As part of the Emirates Thalassemia Society’s efforts to support thalassemia patients, Mr Abdul Baset Mohammed Mardas, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, received Mr. Mohab Al-Sawaf, the representative of Vertex Pharmaceuticals in Europe, to discuss opportunities for joint cooperation to benefit thalassemia champions in the UAE and promote health awareness in the community.
