Within the framework of society’s participations aimed at exchanging experiences and learning about the latest developments in the world in various fields of scientific and medical therapies for Thalassemia patients, the Emirates Thalassemia Society and a number of Thalassemia patients participated in the First Stem Cell Congress by Hortman Stem Cell Laboratory for 2 days in Woldorf Astoria Hotel- Palm Jumeirah. Thalasswmia informative pamphlets, brochures, booklets and awareness campaigns booklets were effectively distributed to the congress attendees along with the informational giveaways. Our delegate of Thalassemia patients also attended many lectures and sessions to get latest updates about the revolutionary treatments for Thalassemia available using the stem cells.
