The Emirates Thalassemia Society decided to celebrate the occasion of Mother’s Day and to honor the mothers of Thalassemia patients in a distinctive way this year, as it presented gifts to them, in addition to coordinating with the Expo 2020 Dubai administration. And other countries, so that it would be a unique experience that remains in their memory and to bring joy and happiness to their hearts, and the desire of the Emirates Thalassemia Society to be part of Expo 2020 Dubai, as it is an exceptional historical event that will not be repeated. And Mrs. Khaleda Khammas, Secretary and Executive Director, and Dr. Khaled Khoury, Financial Director, where the visit included a tour between the pavilions and the different countries, and facilities for entry and transportation were allocated by the Expo management to provide a comfortable entertainment experience for Thalassemia patients.

  The association is always in pursuit of completing the process of giving that it started more than twenty years ago and is still playing its role effectively and positively in providing all kinds of support to patients.
