An awareness lecture was organized through the virtual platform of the Zoom program, delivered by the medical advisor of the association, Dr. Essam Dhaher, and with the participation of His Excellency/ Abdel Basset Merdas, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, who introduced the audience to the association and the support it provides to patients and its role in the community. Also, Mrs. participated in the lecture Sheikha Al-Wali, a mother of three Thalassemia patients with her daughter, their journey with the disease and the challenges they faced. It was a distinguished experience under the supervision of the media person / Hanan Al-Gharabawi, responsible for the health awareness program in the library.

The Emirates Thalassemia Society does not miss any opportunity to educate the community about Thalassemia, as it is in a constant quest to reduce it.
