Emirates Thalassemia Society has been a part of this ongoing prestigious conference over the past four years (2013 – 2014 – 2015 – 2016). Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh / Hamdan Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of Dubai Health Authority, a stand was designated to the Society in the conference where the past, present and future activities of the society was displayed through audio and visual presentations. Special Thalassemia informative brochures were also distributed to the visitors along with free awareness giveaways. 

This scientific event was a great opportunity to display our awareness programs to the visitors and identify the patient and community services provided by the Society allowing them to communicate and cooperate in the future as well as answer many first hand inquiries and exchange several valuable suggestions between the Society and blood specialists from all the countries.
