Emirates Thalassemia Society participated in Second MEGMA Thalassemia and Hemoglobin Illness Conference held in Amman, Jordan from 11th th 12th November 2016, organized by Thalassemia International Federation (TIF) and Jordan Thalassemia Society. An active UAE delegation was formed to successfully participate in the conference and they also had an opportunity to increase their knowledge about Thalassemia through latest treatment developments in the field of Thalassemia. The UAE group of patients had a great time meeting their fellow thalassemia patients from other countries and happily exchanged experiences. The Society therefore, once again achieved its most important objective to provide the social support to Thalassemia patients and relieve their inner suffering.

The Society was also invited to put up a kiosk to display interesting activities and initiatives in order to benefit all other societies.
