Under the patronage of HerHighness Sheikha Sheikha Bint Saif Al-Nahyan, Chair Person of EmiratesThalassemia Society, the Society launched a new awareness campaign named ‘Itest my Blood for future’ to target specifically the youth in the community,namely ‘I Test My Blood’ For Future’ which started in February 2013 incoordination with Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research andAbu Dhabi Education Council. The campaign was formally announced on thefacility of ‘Zayed Bin Mohamed Family Gathering’ and the awareness campaign wasofficially announced through the ministries in all government and privatecolleges, their affiliated schools and Universities all over UAE.

As it is a campaign whichinvites all the educational institutions to cooperate with the Society in orderto spread important information about Thalassemia prevention in scientific andentertaining ways as per the age requirements of the students through customizedmagazines prepared specially for different age categories.
