The massive new awareness campaign “Prevention ... makes life beautiful” kick starts successfully at several governmental and private organizations in different emirates of UAE namely: namely: Directorate of Town Planning & Survey office in Sharjah,Fujeirah Customs Department , Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation, Trafficand Patrols Department in Abu Dhabi Police, Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities Abu Dhabi, Mizhar Center for Cultural& Islamic Affairs.

The campaign witnessed many inquiries from employees about Thalassemia, and educational Thalassemia brochures were also distributed. In some places, an interactive medical lecture was effectively delivered to thousands of employees by the medical advisor of the society Dr. Essam Dhuhair to educate them about the fatal disorder and encourage them to conduct a pre-marital test.

The campaign was also successfully implemented the Union Cooperative Society, where they printed the campaign logo and awareness message on the consumer shopping bags and also displayed the same on their cash counter machines.

Allin all, the awareness campaign was a huge success!
