Emirates Thalassemia Society collaborated with the Community Development Authority to spread Thalassemia awareness
over a period of two weeks through an online lecture delivered by our medical advisor Dr Essam Dohair through Zoom app, which was later uploaded onto the Ministry website to be viewed by thousands of community visitors. Therefore, even in the pandemic times our society successfully managed to reach out to people to spread awareness about Thalassemia and encouraging them to premarital test.
