The society has always been at the forefront to strengthen ties with the care givers of the UAE Thalassemia patients. Frequent visits and meet ups are often planned with the Thalassemia Center Dubai to discuss and improve their combines services to better the lives of Thalassemia patients. This time, the newly elected Board Members of the society excitedly paid a visit and took a tour of the entire Thalassemia Center Dubai facility and also distributed gifts to the patients being transfused and the nursing staff. The Board was welcome by the Acting Director and SSR Dr Fatheya Khaja. They discussed new ways to reach out the changing demands and perceptions of the adult patients and how to satisfy them.
